Position Summary

General Summary:

 

Provides support to end users on a variety of issues. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support.

Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals. Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems

  • Support end users internally and externally
  • Support software and hardware of the end users
  • Communicates clearly both verbally and in writing.    
  • Under supervision, performs work that is varied, but involves limited responsibility.

Skills and Education Required

Qualifications, Educational Skills and Experience:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field (such as Computer Programming or MIS) or equivalent experience is required.
  • Good Phone Skills
  • Good people skills
  • Solid working knowledge of personal computers including Windows XP and Microsoft Office, i.e., Word, Excel, Access, etc.
