Primary function is to utilize corporate CAD system resources (SolidWorks) to create Models, Assemblies, Parts, and detail Drawings per ROC CAD specifications and standards. Must be able to quickly and efficiently utilize SolidWorks to perform a range of duties including assisting engineers with detail drawing updates and revisions, checking drawings, and creating drawing packages containing assemblies of high precision components. Will be required to dimension prints to GD&T standards defined by engineering. Must be familiar with Solidworks PDM file management tools, vault usage, file states, and PDM Workflows. Two-year technical degree preferred, experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD system is REQUIRED. A hands-on SolidWorks test will be part of the interview process.

Education and/or Experience
Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with SolidWorks preferred, will consider other 3D CAD system experience. Two-year technical degree required. Hands-on SolidWorks testing will be a part of the interview process. Firearms and ammunition experience a plus.
Ability to read work and interpret instructions in English. Ability to record observations and keep records of data as instructed.
Ability to perform general mathematical operations and simple data manipulations as instructed. Must be able to read engineering prints, read and understand GD&T, and be able to properly layout and dimension detailed drawings.
Other Skills and Abilities
3D CAD experience required and proficiency with SolidWorks will be given preference, however other 3D CAD system experience may be considered. Proficient with Microsoft Office (office365) suite necessary. Basic MS Windows, network, and file system knowledge is required.
