  • Position Summary

    Functionally responsible for preparing weekly and month-end reports related to production, labor and shipping. Prepares related vouchers and reports. To provide administrative support to the accounting supervisor, production manager/team leads and operations manager.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Responsible for work orders, including creating, changing, releasing, capturing cost information, closing work orders.
    • Responsible for invoicing and providing statements to dealers/customers for products as shipped.
    • Responsible for entering repair orders, and upgrade sales orders.
    • Responsible for processing incoming payments on Accounts Receivable and outgoing payments of Accounts Payable.
    • Responsible for paperwork associated with inventory rifles and work orders.
    • Assist in the collection of sales tax, and credit information from current and prospective customers.
    • Assist in maintaining the financial and informational integrity of the General Ledger.
    • Follows formally, all necessary policies and procedures required to insure the accuracy and timeliness of all general ledger transactions.
    • Assist in maintaining inventory integrity through participation in regular cycle counts and material transaction analysis.
    • Perform all other tasks and duties as required.

    • High School diploma or general education diploma (GED) required with Accounting 1 and Accounting 2 college level courses completed. (Associates degree in business or accounting preferred).
    • Strong administrative and interpersonal skills.
    • PC related skills including experience with various Windows based software applications including Microsoft Office. Database experience preferred (i.e. SAP, Oracle, etc.).
    • Ability to apply simple principles of algebra/mathematics.
    • Ability to reconcile GL accounts.
    • Maintain confidentiality of accounting records.
