  • Position Summary

    Receive and distribute to the appropriate party inbound operator calls from the toll-free line. Answer basic organization questions, copy, fax, create and/or distribute literature internally or externally.  

    Primary Responsibilities

    • 85% telephone, 15% correspondence/fulfillment
    • Service “operator” calls and respond to questions regarding the product line
    • Support company promotional efforts by responding to consumer questions and interfacing with the promotion vendors.
    • SAP data entry including point of purchase materials, VIP, sample no charge and Employee orders  
    • File Maintenance
    • Expediting of incoming/outgoing mail
    • Processing night messages from voice automated system
    • Processing repair approvals/payments
    • Manage the processing of literature requests within 48 hours.  Process bulk mail, Catalogs, Marketing literature, Owner’s manuals, Product materials, Promotional materials, Law Enforcement materials, and Point of Purchase materials

    Education and/or Experience

     

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
    • or one to three months related experience and/or training;
    • or equivalent combination of education and experience.

     

    Language Skills                        

    • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  
    • Ability to write simple correspondence.  
    • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

     

    Mathematical Skills                        

    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  
    • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

     

    Reasoning Ability                        

    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  
    • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

     

    Computer Skills                        

      • Knowledge of SAP Order processing systems;

     

    • Microsoft Word and Excel

     

     

    Other Skills and Abilities                        

    • Record Keeping
    • SAP experience a plus
    • Strong communication skills a must (proper usage of business English in written & oral communication)

    • Adjust to multiple tasks, shifting priorities, and change
