Researches, plans, designs, develops, and implements (into Production) new products, processes and systems into the sporting or defense related arms and ammunition markets. Experienced engineering professional. Capable of technical leadership of projects of significant scope and impact in technical or product area of expertise. Technical specialist in defined discipline. Company specialist in specific process or system.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
BS/MSc degree in Engineering or Science (i.e. Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials engineering, Physics) from a four year accredited or nationally recognized college or university and 4 - 10 years relevant experience; PhD with 3 – 5 yrs experience; Firearms and ammunition experience a plus.
Ability to read work and interpret instructions in English. Ability to record observations and keep records of data as instructed.
Ability to perform advanced mathematical operations such as exponents, logarithms and apply those methods to analyses involving frequency distributions, reliability, analysis of variance and factor analysis.
OTHER SKILLS AND ACTIVITIES
Proficiency with CAD/CAM, finite element analysis, mechanical simulation or aptitude for learning. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite necessary. Program management skills a plus.
