The Business Development Manager for International Defense is responsible for defining and leading the company’s strategic growth in the International Military, Paramilitary and Law Enforcement marketplace. The Business Development Manager accomplishes this mission by identifying and creating business opportunities, developing pursuit strategies and managing cross functional teams to capture revenue and margin. As the primary lead for multi-level customer contact within this channel, the Business Development Manager is the “Voice of the Customer” to the cross functional resources that support new business capture. By clearly communicating Remington’s growth strategy and working with Product Management, Marketing, R&D, Plant Operations and Finance, the Business Development Manager guides delivery to customer commitments and strategically shapes the International Defense and Law Enforcement marketplace. Frequent communication with the customer at their workplace as well as at Industry events ensures customer intimacy as well as a clear view of the marketplace and the competitive landscape for the company.
