  • Position Summary

    Currently hiring a Junior SAP Analyst with MM/PP experience for either of the following locations:


    Huntsville, AL

    Lonoke, AR

    Ilion, NY

    Primary Responsibilities

    Position Summary:

    This position is responsible for assisting SAP Analysts with SAP support tasks such as the following duties:


    Primary Responsibilities:

      • Works with identified subject matter experts (SME’s) in Manufacturing and the SAP MM/PP/PM modules to develop solid understanding of SAP processes.
      • Perform daily system monitoring tasks in the Manufacturing areas.
      • Create/update master data and conduct testing in support of projects or system enhancements.
      • Perform Testing, documentation, and conduct end user training regarding SAP MM/PP enhancements to ensure the system is being used properly and meeting business needs.
      • Create selection criteria (or master data configuration) such as MRP controllers or Manufacturing report variants.
      • Set-up reports to be run in batch processing.
      • Run automated programs (such as WinShuttle) for loading/changing transactional data in SAP.
      • Write business processes instructions and documentation to be used by IT and business users.
      • Provide insight into Manufacturing and Shop Floor technical issues and resolutions.
      • Assist with resolving IT support tickets as assigned.

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year college or 0-2 years SAP experience as an Super User, and/or setting up master data, scheduling reports, training, project testing
    • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.             


    Language Skills:                       

    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  
    • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
    • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.


    Mathematical Skills:                        

    • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  
    • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.  


    Reasoning Ability:                        

    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram from.  
    • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.


    Computer Skills:   

    • Must have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, and PowerPoint.  


    • Must have experience Materials Management, Production Planning and Master Data.


    Other Skills and Abilities:

    • Must be able to interact with senior management; business unit and administrative personnel
    • Must keep competitive and business sensitive information in complete confidence 
    • Must have good organizational and communication skills       
    • Product knowledge of Firearms, Ammunition, Accessory and Parts is a plus
    • Working knowledge of programs and deviations is a plus
    • Previous experience in master data maintenance is a plus.
