  • Position Summary

    Direct, communicate, coordinate, and support product development projects to meet all corporate goals and objectives, as well as, all activities involved in the planning, testing and implementation of new and current product projects for all functions within ROCI. Will partner with complete cross functional team to administer RPDS schedules, processes, and deliverables. Manage on-going RPDS improvement and training.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Lead, direct and manage the implementation of RPDS (Remington Product Development System) to all functions within ROC.
    • Train ROC personnel in RPDS product development; administer toll-gate deliverables, Pass/Not-Pass criteria, and program management and recovery actions.
    • Demonstrate a high level of business acumen and development of project/program business case proposals.
    • Will coordinate financial and timing reconciliation with each project team, including leading coordination of scheduling and/or holding meetings and developing reporting.
    • Support work to incorporate process improvements and enhancements to RPDS, including program to program lessons learned.
    • Must be able to travel and attend off-plant design and process reviews.

    • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Business Management
    • Or equivalent and a minimum of 2-4 years experience of program/project management experience.
    • An in-depth interview and demonstration of skills will be required for any person applying for this position.
    • Extensive knowledge of Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Financial experiences.
    • Experience in technical management and proven performance in developing timing plans, program milestones, critical path assessment and managing deliverables.
    • Ability to organize and lead complex projects.
    • Ability to write reports and procedures. Ability to effectively present information to top management.
    • Microsoft Office experience.
    • Six Sigma Black Belt experience is preferred
    • Lean manufacturing experience is beneficial
