Develop, apply and maintain quality requirements and standards. Currently hiring a Quality Engineer for the Lonoke area.
Principal Duties and Accountabilities (* Essential Functions):
Serve as quality assurance resource to department supervision for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement
Design and implement methods for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection
Promote and execute quality standards, inspection processes, test methodology, quality control plans, documents and reports
Develop, execute and analyze quality-reporting measures.
Interface with both internal and external supplier/customer representatives concerning problems with quality assurance and assure corrective action is implemented.
Directs and coordinates activities concerned with development, procurement, installation, and calibration of instruments, equipment, and control devices required to test, telemeter, record, and reduce test data.
Directs Quality Auditors and QPC's assigned to their area
Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations.
Directs and exercises control over operational, functional, and performance phases of tests.
Analyzes and interprets test data and prepares technical reports.
Develops or uses computer software and hardware to conduct tests on mechanical products and systems.

Educational Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Quality, Mechanical Engineering or related field and a minimum of 3 to 5 years quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
Minimum Six Sigma Green Belt perferred
Preferred ASQ certification, GD&T knowledge and EDM and CMM programming experience.
Heat Treatment/Metallurgical experience
Must have good interpersonal, written, verbal, and analytical skills.
Experience with SPC and ISO-9000 requirements.
Proficient in Microsoft applications, such as; Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook.
