  • Position Summary

    Position Summary:


    Leads a team of Systems Analyst and/or Programmer Analyst as it pertains to the SAP Sales and Distributions (SD) modules.


    Reviews, analyzes, and modifies the design and function of business systems.  Writes documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections.


    Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify system objectives.  Writes manuals for users to describe installation and operating procedures.

    Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming to include coding, testing, debugging and installing to support an organization's business applications.  Gathers requirements, creates specifications, and directs the development of code.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Primary Responsibilities:


    • Responsible for writing and delivering each team members yearly performance evaluation.
    • Plans, conducts, and supervises assignments.
    • Reviews progress and evaluates results.  
    • Assists with preparing charts and diagrams to assist in problem analysis, and reviews recommendations for solution.
    • Assists with preparing program specifications, diagrams, and logic flowcharts.  
    • Communicates clearly both verbally and in writing.  Can articulate a system issue and the proposed solution easily to all levels of the organization.
    • Acts as a primary input for subsequent build activities and is sought out as a subject matter expert.
    • Schedules and leads meetings.   
    • Train junior level personnel in technical complexities of assigned work.  
    • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.   
    • Recommends changes in procedures.
    • Operates with substantial latitude for un-reviewed action or decision.  
    • Reviews progress with management.

      • Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field (such as Computer Programming or MIS) or equivalent experience is required.


    • At least 8 years of experience as a Programmer/Analyst and/or Systems Analyst or related field.


      • Software engineering and system design
      • Relational database design and client server concepts.


    • Solid working knowledge of personal computers including:
    • Windows XP
    • Microsoft Office, i.e.,
    • Word
    • Excel
    • Access


    • Should have experience in Leading and/or Managing others.
