Position Summary

Position Summary:

Responsible for managing events and show coordination ensuring timelines & budgets are adhered to.  Directs coordination of activities to prepare for events

Primary Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Establish & Achieve event metrics: Budget, ROI, space, signage, and product display (brand/product) which coincide with Company goals and objectives
  • Set protocol and manage key 3rd party relationships; Integrate them into relevant Field Events
  • Development, production and delivery of Show/Event POS from inception to completion 
  • Set, communicate and maintain timelines and priorities on every project 
  • Develop, communicate, and maintain event/show calendars with Director, Marketing 
  • Manage operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently 
  • Provide leadership, motivation, direction and support to Retail Sales Specialist team (s)
  • Travel to on-site inspections and project managing events
  • Attend trade shows
  • Lead and provide direction to third party vendors on the set up and tear down of ROC show assets
  • Ensuring excellent customer service and quality delivery 
  • Analyze event performance and prepare event summary presentation (Inclusive of images)
  • Review all ROC show and event assets yearly for viability, repair or replacement
  • Maintain a yearly calendar of all sales, trade, and consumer-facing shows and events
  • Work with Director, Channel Marketing for planning and execution of ad-hoc sales related shows
  • Increase brand awareness and giving the consumer a positive brand experience 
  • Motivate and support team to execute without incident every time at every event.
  • Travel – 40-50%, or as needed 
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • Minimum of 3 years industry experience or 1 year in a sales and/or training capacity
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Language Skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  
  • Ability to read, understand & analyze various sales reports. 
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.


Mathematical Skills:

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.


Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.


Computer Skills:                        

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of:

  • Microsoft Office (WORD, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • SAP
  • usage is helpful.
